Ask in plain English. Octopi figures out the steps, browses the web, researches every row, fills in your spreadsheet, and takes action in the tools you already use, right on your Mac.
No macros, no scripting. Octopi reads your task, plans the steps, and does them, one row at a time, so you can watch every move.
Type what you want done, right into a cell or a task box.
It compiles your words into a workflow: the exact steps and the exact columns to fill.
It browses the web, calls your data providers, and runs your CRM, live, on your Mac.
Only the columns you asked for, with the source on every cell. One undo. Nothing else touched.
Add your email for the link and product updates — or download without one.
Octopi reaches into the web, your CRMs, and the best data providers, and pulls it all back into cells you control.
Write, classify, and extract with a formula, right in a cell, then choose where the thinking happens.
It opens real pages, reads them, and fills your CRM, watching for the right record, never the wrong one.
Octopi runs an open-source model on your Mac through Ollama, and you choose which one. Free, private, and works offline. No key, no cloud.
No chart wizard, no config. Highlight one column or twenty and the right chart appears: typed, labelled, explained in a sentence, and dropped straight into an editable report. The more columns you select, the more it can show.
Its distribution and frequency, plus a full descriptive-stats readout: mean, spread, skew, even a normality check.
The relationship between them, with correlation, a trend line, group tests and chi-square computed and stated for you.
Multivariate views that surface structure across many columns at once: dimensionality reduction and flow, not just more bars.
Bar, pie, or line: Octopi reads the shape of your selection and renders the right one, ranked, with no wizard to click through.
Country and canton values carry their flag and icon right on the labels, so the chart reads at a glance.
Every chart drops into a report tray with its own plain-language summary, and together they become an editable slide deck.
If your day means turning a column of names into researched, verified, filed data, Octopi does the busywork, one row at a time, sourced.
Build and enrich prospect lists, verify the emails, then push clean contacts straight into Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive or Dynamics 365.
Find and confirm candidate emails across a whole list at once, with the source on every one, so you know it's real.
Turn a messy list of companies into a sourced sheet: websites, industries, locations, and the people behind them.
Fourteen providers across five jobs. Octopi routes each row to the right one, and falls through to the next when one comes up empty, so you never pay twice for the same answer.
Plus a free, on-device open-source model. No key required.
Yes. The app is free, with no account and no subscription. The on-device open-source model costs nothing at all. You only ever pay for what you choose to add: the AI and data providers you connect, paid directly with your own keys, or optional Octopi Cloud credits to plan and read with Claude.
No. The on-device open-source model and the browser automation work with zero keys. Add your own Hunter, Apollo, Claude or other keys only when you want those specific providers, and those requests go straight from your Mac.
By default everything runs locally. Spreadsheets, cookies, and browser profiles never leave your Mac, and calls made with your own keys go directly from your machine; Octopi never proxies, stores, or sees them. If you add Octopi Cloud, only the text our Privacy Policy describes goes through our server to Anthropic, and we never store it.
Turn on Teach, do the task yourself once in Octopi's browser, and ⌥-click the values you want to capture. Octopi learns the path and repeats it across every row. No scripting, no selectors.
Your spreadsheet (only the columns your task declares), where every cell keeps its source and the whole run is a single undo. And your CRM: Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive or Microsoft Dynamics 365. In each one Octopi looks up records and their latest activity, adds and updates companies, contacts and tasks, completes tasks and links a contact to a task, checking for duplicates first and reading every change back. It works in the CRM you're signed in to, so Dynamics 365 needs no app registration or key. In the chat, every CRM change asks you first unless you turn on Always allow for that CRM (it's off by default). Nothing else is touched.
macOS today, built for Apple silicon. Your Mac does the work (the browsing, the model, the writes), so it runs offline and nothing lives in the cloud — unless you add optional Octopi Cloud, which plans and reads with Claude.
Octopi is free, runs on your Mac, and installs in about a minute.
